Advisory Board

The Wittliff Collections, including the Southwestern Writers Collection and the Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection, at Texas State University-San Marcos are dedicated to establishing and enhancing relationships with the cultural arts community and philanthropic leaders on a local, state, national, and international level.

To help achieve this goal, the Wittliff Collections established an Advisory Board to serve as an interface between the University and the public at large. Board members play a critical role in carrying out the Collections’ mission to preserve the cultural arts of the region by interacting with colleagues and friends to relate the accomplishments and goals of the Collections, and by assisting with fundraising initiatives.
