Frank Waters Papers

In 2015 and 2017, Mary Ann Torrence of The Frank Waters Foundation donated a collection of material relating to author Frank Waters. The collection includes books by Waters, many of which are first edition prints and several are signed copies by Waters. There are also works about Frank Waters’ life and career. several sculpture pieces of Frank Waters, copies of newspaper articles from El Crepusculo, papers from The Frank Waters Foundation: Sheltering the Creative Spirit, and email correspondence to and from Mary Ann Torrence, 1949-2017.

Listed below is an archival inventory of the Frank Waters holdings. Note that access to unprocessed materials is granted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Archivist for details about access to the Waters Papers.

The following collection is a selection of works from American author Frank Waters and works about Frank Waters’ life and career. Mary Ann Torrence of The Frank Waters Foundation donated the collection, most of which consists of books by Waters, many of which are first edition prints and several are signed copies by Waters. Additionally, the collection contains several sculpture pieces of Frank Waters, and works about Frank Waters’ life and career.
