Giving FAQ

Why do The Wittliff Collections need private gifts?
Like every non-profit, even those connected to strong universities like Texas State, private funds are necessary to help The Wittliff continue to collect, preserve and share the cultural legacy of the Southwest.

What do The Wittliff Collections do with contributions?
We do exactly what donors ask us to do with their gifts. When gifts are unrestricted, the Wittliff director makes decisions about how those funds are spent based on current priorities. Unrestricted gifts are generally used for the acquisition and preservation of collections, exhibition costs, and public programming.

Where do I send my gift?
You may donate online, or simply call or e-mail Ramona Kelly, the Director of Development for The Wittliff at 512.245.5154.

Checks should be made payable to Texas State University.
